Hassan Bundu President and CEO
Hassan is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance, healthcare, and leadership. His unique background growing up in Sierra Leone, one of the poorest countries in the world, has shaped his vision and direction for helping others, and his passion for service to humanity is evident in his work.
As the Founder and CEO of FREETOWN HEALTH GROUP, LLC, a State-licensed mental health, substance abuse, and treatment residential facility, Hassan has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and creativity. He has also worked as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst for the State of Arizona Medicaid agency, where he led, managed, and reported on the financial oversight of managed care contractors and tribal authorities’ financial activities.
Hassan’s commitment to helping others was further demonstrated during the Covid-19 pandemic, where he served as a loan officer for the United States Small Business Administration, approving over half a million in PPP and disaster relief loans to families and small businesses. He has also worked as a senior auditor and consultant for various organizations in the United States.
Currently, Hassan is an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Technology Resilience and Disaster Recovery at Wells Fargo, where he works on the disaster recovery and business continuity team. With a BSc in Applied Accounting and a master’s degree in accounting and financial Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, Hassan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.
